I wasn't implying that it should be an instant success. But regionals are not making fists of money by doing their own flying. It is a result of the contracts they have with major carriers. That is why regionals were making money when majors were in bankruptcy and why ASA, Comair, and Mesaba got taken into BK right along with Delta and Northwest.
