Committ, while those groups certainly do exist, did you purposely leave out "legacy" guys who have integrated with the pilot group and have earned their trust? Because whether you know it or not some have and want to contribute to a unified, one, Amerijet Pilot group against the poor management practices that have been recently flexed. It would be so refreshing to be the Amerijet Pilot group with pilots committed to being a unified force and not factions from different airlines. To others reading on this thread, no matter where you are from, if you come in, want to work hard, learn, bring your experience the right way, and FLY THE CONTRACT, you will be just fine. This pilot group, new and old, most have had it with abuse from management. Some here are still shaking in their boots due to fear-mongering by management the interim MEC is working hard along with other committee members to put a stop to pilot abuse and promote safety. No more min rest scheduled trips, pressure to extend, lack of catering, and having money stolen out of our pockets for not working on a day off involuntarily among other basic things that belong to the pilot profession. However, anyone who wants to apply here and think they are better than everyone else or be buddy-buddy with management, apply at your own risk your experience may vary.

The latter are the ones who need to shut up and just be grateful for the job. But that’s my personal opinion.

The two recent classes they hired had a more blended structure of pilots. So it’s honestly been all over the place. Our HR are notoriously slow and at times have been hard to get ahold of. They may have forgotten. We don’t have pilot recruiting like some airlines. It’s our DO, CP and director of training along with a few others. Basically folks wearing multiple hats sometimes. As such if you have a pint of contact here you’ve got to follow up routinely it seems. And that’s including those with internal recs. Good luck. We will be adding more 200s in January and expanding. So we need good folks here.
