If you can answer yes to any of these, move on. I, for one, am looking forward to 60 and I DO NOT want to work beyond it. I remember signing my application at CAL and being told "you will retire at age 60". Do you remember that?

If we really want to make the new rule fair, here's a suggestion. Make the age 65 change apply ONLY to those hired 1 day after its enactment. That way people who have no life to live can cling to the Captains seat for as long as they choose and us "Old Guys", (who agreed to leave at 60), can fade off into the sunset like we said we would.

Again, sorry for the harsh words, but get a life dammit !!
No offense taken 757, i understand your point but --me personally, i`m no threat to any US pilot cause i just toodle around in my LR60 more or less getting paid to have fun and i sure as hell ain`t gonna apply for any "Airline" job ,even if they raised the age t/moro, regardless, i would have to start over and i am NOT about to do that, going to India is my way off paying off my mortgage, car payments etc, come back here in 4 years and really "retire" besides it`ll be an adventure ,so i`m told ---on a lighter note, one of my buddies over there, went to spend the weekend with the other buddy, while having his routine morn "dump" he noticed that there was only 2-3 sheets of t/paper, on enquiry about more our "now gone native" buddy informed him that there is no more, and to use the little hose on/in the wall next to him holy moly!!! gotta go i`m off to B.J.s to buy a case heh heh heh
