You CUT the part that was convenient to cut. You should get a job with the media. The SA advantage only lasts a short time. By the time people are flying for a major airline, the advantage is gone. I.E. Younger pilots are less prone to physical problems than older pilots. You are right about 121 ops not being physical flying. However, the long days and long flights over the pond
ARE. I have many non stop flights over 28 hours. Everybody gets tired. The older guys just don't do as well the longer the time gets. This doesn't mean that there are not very good and qualified guys that are 60. Do you actually beleive the older you are, the more healthy you get? As pilots we have to be physically and mentally heathy..not one or the other, both. What will be the next push...fly until you are 70. There has to be a limit somewhere. I would venture to say the great Bob Hoover would admit he is not as skilled as he once was. I do respect your opinions though..old fella.
