Leave CFI job for 135 or wait for ENY?
As the title states. I’m torn on what to do. (assuming I’m offered the job). 1,000 hour CFI & also a cadet with Envoy.
I have an interview next week to fly a citation bravo for a smaller 135 company. I’d hate to burn bridges with Envoy/AA but I’m making quite literally less than minimum wage instructing at ATP after they cut our pay.
Is it career suicide to leave the cadet program for a charter job considering the climate in the industry?
Is it worth it to wait it out until the regionals start hiring again? I’d hate to leave a guaranteed job at envoy then they turn around & start classes again in the next 6 months
