AA just retired 95 aircraft and deferred a number of aircraft on order for another 2-3 years. They have ~1600 mainline pilots furloughed and it may be another couple years before international and business flying return to normal - if they ever do. Unless there is some compelling reason to live in an Envoy or AA base for the next ten-12 years you would be far better off taking the 135 job and making yourself employable at Republic or Skywest or whatever regional with a base near you that starts hiring sooner.
The much vaunted ‘flow’ is more a gimmick to keep you at a wholly owned than it is to fill the pilot needs of the major.
