Yes - so it is important that the leaders we choose promote unity instead of exploiting divisions. It is important that we preserve, manage and improve institutions rather than tear everything down and take pride in our "individualism" to blow up systems, processes and institutions.

Bringing this back to the topic of this thread; we are not an industry of 100,000+ individual commanders, doing as well damn well please, setting individual and varying standards and procedures. We have a process. At the Plaintiff's carrier, they have a variety of reports and internal mechanisms to manage safety and these systems have had good results.
