Why would anyone with good seniority choose to be the PLUG, just to be on a new airplane? The plug is almost universally a position pilots don't want to be.
Why would you want to be the PLUG on the A220 instead of 20-30% off the bottom, or better, on the A320 Roy?
I have no idea, but I’ve heard a myriad of reasons for senior people bidding it...that I’ve spoken to anyway. Gave me the impression it was going senior on both seats. Why anyone would bid into the blind is beyond me. It’s a new toy that pays well, so who knows 🤷🏻♂️
