Probably not. It probably has something to do with being one of the few companies operating 777s on the ramp. And have you ever seen any of the Kalitta race cars? Have you seen how much yellow and red covers them? Tell me there's no deal there.
Or waiting for freight and not worrying about being “on time” because the freight is late. I’ve heard a rumor that aerologic might lose some planes because they leave freight behind.
Have you ever worked in the DHL system? Nobody worries about being on time. Not even DHL. Nobody simply closes the door and leaves anything behind just to be on time. You don't close the door and block out until DHL says you're loaded, pulls the K-loader, closes the cargo doors and completes the weight and balance crosscheck with the captain (whereupon some of them will ask you for a block time that is the same or earlier than the crosscheck time, which is as close as they get to worrying about being on time). Some of the outstations are pretty good, but in CVG, it's a rare day that you leave on time.
