2 years as an FO, upgrade, 1 year as a CA then call to interview around 800 TPIC.

OR 2-3 years at a regional, jump to an LCC, 6 months to 1.5 years there then interview.

”not the norm” is a vast understatement. 3000-3500 hours with less than 1000tpic? At Delta?

maybe things have changed. Probably a good thing. Congrats to those pilots.
