Our payscales are very 'top-heavy" - dismal for newhires, but eventually reaching a workable level after year 10. With the FDP rigs, small-cabin pilots with at least 14 years of longevity are currently earning narrow body wages. (both CA and FO's)

More specifically, pilots on the 52, 7&7, and 60 are making LCC narrow-body wages, while those on the 72 and 76 are making Legacy narrow body wages.

I have friends who are Captains at every single airline out there... we compare notes from time to time so I stand by this statement.

Of course, we work a LOT harder than either of those groups so in my opinion we are still ridiculously underpaid.

FedEx and UPS are wide-body carriers with significantly greater compensation packages.

Congratulations to those of you who have successfully landed at one of those operations.... Why on earth are you wasting time trolling this forum?
