And those guys flying the jets talking about how great it is they are seeing new cities without having a clue what they’re really saying. So forgive me for saying not only do I not care about what Skywest and envoy think of themselves, I really don’t want to have to read through it on an AA forum. No disrespect but take it elsewhere
Agree on that. I was kinda surprised a Skywest pilot had the audacity to come onto an American thread, question where I work and try to throw insults around, but whatever. The hub-to-hub flying on RJ's sucks, but as long as it doesn't violate scope, there's not much we can do...you get what you negotiate and don't expect management to do you any favors out of the goodness of their hearts.
My biggest concern going forward is like most, lack of revenue. I think we're in for a few rough years ahead, but as long as revenue and passengers make a decent semblance of a comeback, I don't see bankruptcy in our future. That's a big IF though. My other big concern is the possibility of a JetBlue merger and how it will decimate the seniority list, specifically the career expectations of younger AA pilots towards the bottom of the list (yes, that's where I stand.)
That being said, I personally don't stress about any of the above because it's all out of my hands.
