UA tried to play hardball back with JA was still in charge. When UA did this and threatened him they definitely sent in the B squad.
JA asked them if they knew UA’s market cap/value.
None of them did and he proceeded to threaten to pay cash and buy UA.
OO management has always been ruthless and CC is even smarter than JA was.
And yes, OO management have turned down direct flows to UA & DAL (multiple times) because INC makes more money flying for everyone.
