Marijuana is legal in Ottawa. Are Air Canada pilots who live in this providence allowed to smoke marijuana at all during their careers as long as they do not smoke within a certain time from flying?
What about General Aviation pilots? I would really like to know because I have been doing research about marijuana, and this question has came to mind.
Thanks All!
Oh good grief. How high were you when you wrote this?
-Ottawa isn't a PROVINCE
-PROVIDENCE may be a state of mind, but it's not a State or PROVINCE
-Ontario is a PROVINCE and Ottawa is a capital city, but it's not the capital of Ontario.
-Marijuana may be decriminalized in Ontario, but it's not legal either.
-There's no random drug testing in Canada, or at least there wasn't when I left, but you can be subject to a test when in the US.
-In short Air Canada or any other pilots caught with illegal drugs in their system are subject to dismissal and any one of a whole raft of laws.
Good luck with your "research." I hope you find the answers and enter a divine state of providence.
