Jokes aside there would have to be a buyer for PSA. This is not the market to sell a entire regional with roots in a dead Midwest city. However with possible CEO changes in the future at AA and a unknown timeline for international travel returning all bets are off. You can plan that IF a major goes to bankruptcy it wont be the only one. Which means scope clauses and contractual restrictions our industry worked hard to gain, are now on the table yet again.
Apparently a rumor was going around OO of a potential buyout of PSA (more of a joke than a rumor). With how the buy out at ExpressJet went (complete disaster) along with our management claiming they’lI never do it again, I give that a 0% chance of happening.

Maybe, they were offered to buy PSA? And that information made it to the line pilots, but who knows. Something is definitely going on though if they are opening up the training department again.
