The captain wanted to meet about an hour later to have dinner. He got down early and sat in a chair on the opposite side of the room, just looking at all of us until it was time for dinner. Pretty strange when people will avoid a free beer just to not have to speak with those in a certain work group.

No I'm not going to bang a bunch of FAs or go into someone's room alone with them. I'm not stupid. One can talk with people and enjoy one adult beverage without getting in trouble. It's embarrassing what some of the captains I fly with think sometimes.
