Line holders have been back to 86 since October, Flight attendants are back since October. The only ones who are still taking a "hit" are the reserves. That was the main point i was trying to convey. As a reserve and not being utilized you also miss out on per diem. If you are on the CRJ you also only get paid 200 rate even if you only fly 700 or 900. So there is a lot of money being lost for anyone on reserve right now.
And on the original comment where i tagged you i aimed to say that not only are we not useable under 3 days reserve bucket, we are worthless in the 5 day bucket, since they would have to use every single reserve below you in order for you to get used.
Wrong on so many counts
Line holder here who used to average 105 hour credit per month. now averaging 85, with nothing to pick up unless you are willing to sit by the computer all day to watch open time to take an LCO trip. The text alerts are too slow to be able to pick up anything worthwhile since others are watching it too.
A CRJ pilot who gets called out on reserve to fly the 700/900 gets the override pay added to their check even if not breaking guarantee
A five day bucket is mostly wasted, but if a 4 day trip shows up on day one of your bucket they usually don't call out anyone in less than a 4 day bucket, so everyone in those lower buckets don't need to be used before you get called.
I say usually don't call anyone in the shorter buckets because crew scheduling will do that if someone in the 4 day bucket will break guarantee if called out for the whole trip, so they'll break it up to prevent that from happening.
What usually happens in a 5 day bucket is you're OBR to DTW, unless you live in DTW, then you're sent OBR to DEN or SEA to prevent someone there from breaking guarantee.
