Another variation regarding Vacation Slide for the hive mind. looked in the PWA and SRH, but didn't see this particular issue addressed. I have never used vacation slide. Is it safe to assume you can slide your days within a partial week? After all, I had the seniority to hold Thanksgiving week off, just didn't have 7 days of vacation to get the actual day.
Or is vacation move-up a better option to move these days? I guess the advantage would be finding out earlier if the move was approved? TIA
You already own Thanksgiving week, so I’m not sure how move up would even work. If your seniority can already guarantee Thanksgiving off, then you can just slide what you have there no problem. You might also be able to buy an additional day or two to tack on to the end of what you have to guarantee it off now.
