Well ya know.........the last time the optomizer was "cranked up" (circa 1999) the crew force squawked so loud via e-mail, phone calls, beak to beak in the crew room, sick leave utilization (and now Fatigue calls) that an executive VP was fired and the optomizer was turned off. We like to call it the "Mook event". The problem is managment has gotten so good at the "frog in the pot" technique that we don't realize that month in month out they crank down for 3 steps forward, and then "seem to respond" for 1 step back (net 2 forward). The sad thing is most guys are "so grateful and impressed" with the one back. Bleeding in increments, time tested and it seems,.......very effective. I'm getting to the point where I "wake up fatigued". How about you?
