no disrespect meant, but did you read the scope committee’s email? This plus Scott’s email puts me in the solid yes category. I understand we are voting differently (and that’s okay) but this befits us more than AA, and will result in more JetBlue flying.
Frankly, I don’t even see the downside. This isn’t a capacity purchase agreement. This isn’t AA taking our jobs. This isn’t a regional. This is AA (Eagle in my example) flying from ALB-JFK so we can fly that same customer to ABQ. We will make real money on the JFK-ABQ while making (basically) nothing on the ALB-JFK route.
win win for us and the company.
