I think you are missing part of the LOA. Take a look at LOA 13 B.2. Specifically LOA 13 B.2.D
In summary, it is a "no furlough" clause by a different name. Take a look. Tell me what you think.
LOA section B.2.d is very far from a “no furlough” clause. You seem to be missing an important key word. What this sections says is that active pilots in on 1/1/2025 must be more than 2022, 2023,
OR 2024. Key word is
OR. This is much, much, worse than our current CBA which says to maintain the agreement we are required to show growth year over year. This agreement amends our current CBA so that we are not required to show growth until 4 years from now (from our current depressed levels). This is completely unacceptable. If the company is planning on growing or maintaining this pilot group there is no reason why they wouldn’t offer a no furlough period for the duration of this agreement.
