This is much, much, worse than our current CBA which says to maintain the agreement we are required to show growth year over year. This agreement amends our current CBA so that we are not required to show growth until 4 years from now (from our current depressed levels). This is completely unacceptable. If the company is planning on growing or maintaining this pilot group there is no reason why they wouldn’t offer a no furlough period for the duration of this agreement.
For everyone's info this is what we are discussing......

d. The number of Active Pilots employed by the Company on January 1, 2025 must be at least the greater of the following amounts: i. Three (3) Active Pilots greater than the number of Active Pilots employed by the Company on January 1, 2022; ii. Two (2) Active Pilots greater than the number of Active Pilots employed by the Company on January 1, 2023; or iii. One (1) Active Pilot greater than the number of Active Pilots employed by the Company on January 1, 2024.

WHEREAS, the Company agrees that it shall not furlough any Pilot before May 1, 2022, subject exclusively to the provisions of Paragraph J of this LOA, as set forth herein;

I'll submit a PDR and ask why it is written this way vs a true "no furlough clause", as I think it is a reasonable question.
