You can look at WW2 the same way. We could have just complied and there have been less risk to many.

So, all the things people before us “endured” to protect our liberty, some are willing and even promoting others give up liberties voluntarily for an indefinite period. And to what end? Until ALL risk is gone? Should we lockdown and mask up every fall when the flu returns? Flu deaths don’t matter?

And it isn’t “just a mask.” The list of things is long and distinguished.

And anybody that ever leaves their bubble in the basement and wanders out of their house, there is somebody who can point the finger and say you aren’t taking it seriously enough and that you are posing a risk and don’t care about others.

Irony? Yep.
Applying a Revolutionary War analogy to a pandemic is beyond rediculous. This is a global health crisis that has forced all governments worldwide to defer to the expertise of epidemiologists and virologists. By your logic passengers on our aircraft should not have to wear masks because it's limits their "freedom". Similar flawed logic and rhetoric led to the Insurrection at the Capitol and rightfully the prosecution of thousands. Thankfully an overwhelming majority of the country doesn't think like this.
