Pilots have more anti social conspirophiles than any (supposedly educated) professional group I have encountered. The banter is more aligned with what you’d find in an auto-mechanics shop than in educated work settings and they think they are better for it.
It's because, unlike most professionals, we don't work in an office as an integral part of an org chart.
So some us don't have any context for how "systems of people" (ie organizations, private or gov) actually work. Their frame of reference is junior high school and James Bond villains.
I know some private-practice docs who are exactly the same, for the same reason. They are the captain of their ship (office), and the office is full of lower-end medical help. Maybe they have another doc as a partner. They have the time, intellect, broadband internet, and lack of context. My AME is really into illuminati, Q-anon, etc. Or maybe he's just testing MY mental health
