FWIW, UAL is not really investing any significant $$$ at this point. So little, in fact, that this did not even require BOD approval. However, UAL has agreed to buy some of these aircraft in several years *if* they meet their specs and are certified.

At this point it's a press release for green transportation and not a significant binding financial commitment.
