I’m bullish on the stock ($ACIC), so I think UA made a great investment. They invested $600 million privately with the OPTION for an additional $500 million order of aircrafts.
China has already started its own eVTOL aircraft stock $EH that’s valued at $108. I think they’ll do well on the investment.
people use humor and group-ish tendencies to lessen the pain of the crushing uncertainty that surrounds us. Unless you are completely devoid of empathy, You don’t mock something you think is truly pitiable or beneath you. You mock things that threaten you or that you don’t understand.
Given our extreme left-brain nature as pilots (detail oriented, high desire for certainty/black-white outcomes, belief in simple logical chain thinking), most of us wouldn’t make great long term strategists. So have pity on us... I’ve made peace with my shortcomings ;-)
