AA isn't spending a dime on new or used airplanes, that includes for their WO regionals. It adds to their already problematic debt load. The only growth will be by contract regionals that finance their own airplanes; Skywest, Republic and Mesa.

Its kind of why I’ve been perplexed by all this talk of PSA getting airplanes. I realize that 99% of regular line pilots don’t quite grasp what is going on here but there aren’t likely to be any more growth opportunities at the WOs unless AA decides to shut one down and shift the flying to another WO.
