The problem is the folks I've talked to in person who voted yes didn't really give me a reason. I'm not judging your decision, but you gotta give me something other than "Well if it gets voted down the company will probably just screw us at contract talks so I'm just going to vote yes".

I can give you multiple reasons for my 'No' vote. It's not a 'stick it to the company', it's valid reasons that haven't been addressed properly. Good faith and assumptions do nothing when the company has real lawyers looking for any and every loophole to make sure they get their way if the language allows it.
