My mother remarried this guy who worked for 25 years in tech support and one day decided to quit his job and be a househusband. I thought it was goofy but they have been living that way for years now and both of them love it. She goes to work and he does his househusband stuff. Neither of them are abnormal people. He likes football, NASCAR, rock and roll, home improvement etc. and she likes sewing, clothes, cooking etc. It just works out better for them that way.
