Yup! I looked at going to 717A and compared it to my lifestyle as a 330B and decided it just wasn't worth the relatively small bump in pay. As you go up the years in the pay scale, the pay difference actually gets smaller. If you're like me and are more of a pay per day gone type of person, then it makes zero sense to make that jump. I'm actually hoping I'm not one of the guys with a cancelled displacement because I'd like to see what it's like being in the top 15% of a category. Even on a NB, it may be worth it...we'll see.
Yup any non-ER Widebody B to 717A or 220A doesn't make much sense unless you'll be super super senior. Pay difference is pretty small for substantial workload difference.
