If I get a Tesla I would rent a gas car if I ever went on a road trip over 200 miles. Also not a good car to bring back country camping.

I drive mine on trips 300-500 miles every couple months. Not an issue if you’re near super chargers. Adds a very minimal amount of time (30-45 min). If there aren’t, level 2 destination chargers are everywhere. There’s also public chargers...lots of options.

As far as back county camping, who’s taking their new BMW 5 series or MB E350 back country camping? Thats the same thing as taking a M3.
