OK, maybe try freight then? Maybe try going into the training department or becoming a sim instructor at a place like Flight Safety? I worked there between airline gigs once, had fun, learned a bit as well. Any gig can get boring after a while, so changing your duties is a good thing to stay sane.
Didn't mean to infer any lack of skills in my last post BTW.
And none of us like thunderstorms. I did a decade of transcons and had to deal with them all the time. That and the Rockies in winter.
