They have to do an interim for the rest of the term. That’s what they did when TC took over for SP in 2019 when he flowed. TC was elected for the remainder of the term. I would think if the rumors are true then there would be some sort of announcement to the pilots of a vacancy? Anybody can run that is in good standing. Maybe The Commander should do it.
