While I was never a fan (two tours, 5000+ hours) I never minded new airframes. While jammed into its incredibly uncomfortable cockpit I had plenty of opportunities to sniff all of its orifices. I found each and extremely malodorous. I guess if it's your first jet you might think it's pretty skookum. To each their own I suppose. Oh, and the pax prefer the Bus, but who cares what they think?

Interesting that you mentioned that about PAX preferring the bus, bc I would agree, except that the company just said that the MAX is their highest scoring in their handy-dandy surveys. If you’re into that sort of thing.
But this is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta “what-have-yous.”
