We wouldn't be able to handle any new plane purchases if we weren't manned for it along with potential growth. And the other airlines benefitted from us not furloughing by actually trying to do the same thing. What's ridiculous is when guys like Old Mako that have nothing to do in retirement, waste all of their time on a forum they shouldn't even be allowed to post on anymore. Their jaded inputs are irrelevant when you are no longer with the company. Lastly, it won't take years to know if this LOA is working, because it's working already. No one is on the street, No one. And no one is going on the street in June or this year or any time soon. Oh, that's right - we shouldn't have saved any of these bottom 1/3 jobs because they didn't earn their stripes yet. Your "Me, Myself, and I" team can go jump in the lake!
Rebut one thing in the original premise. Use a provable metric or fact.
This LOA was like stepping up to the roulette table and trying to choose whether to put all of your chips on red or black - and then going with green.
