I guess it hurts to be wrong? We could be like AA farming out flying on both coasts to B6 and AS. Would that make you happy? How many seats are in our biggest RJs right now... 6 less than before.
A raise? Did you get a raise? I haven't seen a raise? That's an unhatched egg. Will it go rotten before it hatches? Yet to be seen.
"Nobody is earning less/hr"? Wrong. I brought this up many times on the forum that there IS a paycut for many during vacation months because of the 2:20 multiplier. Too lazy to actually research your contract and see how the 2:20 multiplier impacts you? Fine. It hit me hard. I brought this to the attention of the MC during the LOA debate, and the response was, "yes you are right", but they decided to sweep it under the rug. This was a big win for the company and a further degradation of our vacation benefit. The MC and the MEC are there to represent the pilot group not be cheerleaders for the company. Yes there are many times where the interest are aligned and I am happy they work together. But we have seen some slanted sales jobs lately. Even the company's Max purchase comm yesterday mentioned current aircraft reaching the end of their service life, implying some of these Max are replacements. The MC's comm yesterday made no mention of that and spun them as all growth aircraft to justify the LOA sales job. I am always suspicious of the big sales job or when someone tries too hard.
