For example; you get a NY220 that is your bridge to SLC220 on a later AE. You don’t “lose” your NY220 on subsequent AEs, but if you bid on SLC220 on the next AE, *and you have not started training*, you get awarded in affected pilot seniority order. You have no advantage since you have not started training. If you have started training, then you are ACTIVE and have an advantage over all affected pilots.
