The above poster is correct. The drugs were developed for symptom mitigation. They will help create antibodies which will help combat then virus and make you more resistant, but they do not create any kind of verifiable lasting immunity or stop transmission. You basically become an asymptomatic carrier.
And before some snarky reply is given I live with a public health expert. That’s her considered opinion after seeing the government submissions and test results from the manufacturers.
She’s in no hurry to get vaccinated even though she has a place at the front of the line if she wants it.
If you have underlying health concerns or just feel the need then have at it. I completely understand. If you need it tout “trusting the experts” or some science that you’ve read about then go ahead and tell me about how standardized and laid back you are too so we can get the BS out of the way at the outset.
