If you find not tipping a van driver “distasteful” and “poor behavior,” you need to have some perspective.

How someone decides to spend their money is their issue. I’d hate to fly with someone who’s main concern and how they feel about themselves, are on how others tip. I would hope that when we arrive at the hotel, we have other, more important things to be concerned with (FaceTiming with family, eating, socializing with the crew, exercising, sleep, etc.)

With all the truly awful things happening around the world, especially the animosity between other human beings, I would think whether or not to tip a van driver would be pretty petty. The Western culture of over-tipping propagates threads like these with divisiveness.
