That’s not how it works. Dues are 1.95% of your income. They are not a set dollar amount. If you make more money, you pay ALPA more money and vice versa.
I would never look at pay rates for a plane we don't even fly as a way of offsetting dues. I didn't think it is at 1.95% and thought they decreased it recently too.
