I can’t believe the amount of noobs in here. It’s age old airline pilot adage to leave the food stains on your shirt and tie, that way if you crash in the middle of the jungle you can boil your tie and scoop the sludge off the top for food.
and you can use all the ones you saved by not tipping as kindling to start that fire!
Kind of reminds me how my dad would tie a knot in his shoe laces when they broke. Could not afford to buy new and change them out. After he had so many the ends were too short he could no longer tie them, he bought new.
