Despite popular belief and what Gulfstream would have you believe, most folks from GIA end up at other regionals before making it to the big show (if they ever do). And remember, if merger mania strikes and the big boys start to furlough or the regionals start to shrink and consolidate while the majors swallow each other up, you might get stuck for a while.
