I assume everything I do on company property is monitored with the exception of the lavatory.
However, it would take a lot of resources to actively and continually surveil front line employees, as well as organize and catalog those conversations and interactions. In addition, I think ALPA might have something to say about it. FOQA already covers both authorized and unathorized recording devices on the flight deck. Conversations related to flight ops might actually fall under FOQA anyway. No conversation can be used against an employee that is covered by FOQA. Wouldn't take much to get union to extend FOQA to the entire property from check in to debrief. Just a thought......But, I am gonna get my til foil hat, com jammer, IR and VR video jammer just in case.
The point being that the company collects the data automatically. I seriously doubt they actively monitor anyone specifically, unless...…
You do something else dumb, or not dumb but get caught in a bad situation. They will then look at all their data and pile on. Don't give them free ammo to use against you.
It's been demonstrated time and time again.
