Your only shot at getting home is on AA so you run across the airport (Ord) and get to the gate only to see a Spirit, JB, and DL pilot huddled at the desk waiting for the JS. Your stress level just went up a few points because the flight benefits you pay for (AA Travel Planner) puts you at the same priority for JS as the other 3 OAL pilots who listed as D6. The fact that a Republic pilot has paid a fee for AA nonrevenue travel for him and his family is not at all relevant to Jumpseating. If an OAL pilot wants to travel as a non rev on AA he purchases a ZED fare.
