Heh, I did corporate for a long time. Longer than I should have. The jobs I had, I really was home more often than if I was doing 121 so I justified it by that. That said, I never realized just how much I was working to be at home until I took my first 121 job where someone else did literally all the non-flying work.
I really like flying and dread retirement (though I'm still so far from that age that I may change my mind by the time it matters) and didn't hate corporate. I may go back to that post 65 just to keep flying and having something to do if I'm healthy enough. We'll see when I get there.
