The only reason people are getting full pay right now is due to gov assistance (not the LOA)
Do you really think pay protection from gov assistance will continue while at the same time hiring new labor?. A little hard to justify don’t you think? So what happens when that supply of funds is cut off? The company gets to hire and train all while keeping the low MPGs Throughout the winter slow months in prep for summer 22 (Provided the LOA is not terminated by one of the triggers)
Don’t get me wrong , the LOA is a good thing, but MPGs should be all returned to normal (without the need for gov bailouts) before new hires are brought in.
