I'm not a LUV, but if the guy was serious, there will be plenty of guys thinking, "I'm not surprised", because it wasn't his first rant. If the guy is a comedian, there will also be many thinking, "I'm not surprised" as well.
I thought I heard a partial laugh during the rant and have never seen an angry politics/social commentator switch gears as fast as he did into "happy guy" talking to Tower and Departure. Normally those guys stay p%ssed at everyone for awhile. Just my 2 cents.
Bad optics either way, even if parked waiting to line up.
