I am Libertarian so I tend to be conservative on some issues and quite liberal on others. All groups in the country that are trying to achieve/enact their goals have the right to try to sway me to their point of view. It is my job as a citizen to educate myself on those issues and make my own informed decision. Unfortunately we are in the mess we are because too many on both sides have abdicated their authority and just go with their team. The two teams are doing everything in their power to silence the other side and the population pays the price by having less information to use to make decisions. It is the same trajectory that all free societies seem to follow unfortunately.
