Someone on here said they heard management mention hiring in the fall. Quite possible. Its true we've retired several fleets and are a smaller carrier today. However something that seems to get ignored here is that we are currently continuing to take deliveries of 737Max's, 321NX's, and 787s as replacements. As long as a recovery continues and these planes have somewhere to fly profitably, AA pilots will be better off going forward. group 3 paying 75/76 replaced with group 4 paying 787s. Group 1 paying E190 replaced with group 2 paying max/nx. In a few years time AAL could easily return to pre-COVID size. We have the orders to do it.
