First of all 1.8 of any large amount is a ton of people. But it also depends on when those calculations were made. Were there even a ton of Covid cases? But really forget about that, all things considered, in a real world scenario, would you rather be in an enclosed space where people are masked or not? The fact that masks slow the spread is a fact, it’s not in dispute. They’re not 100% obviously but there’s been studies done for decades on them blocking most of the droplets the virus is attached to. No need for graphs and statistics on that, that’s why it’s been adopted by the whole world except for you.
